As the Feed Me Editor for Road Trips for Families, my mission is to break free from the Happy Meal one kid-friendly restaurant at a time. While restaurant reviews suit my column, our family enjoys the open road as much as we can.
Milwaukee Loves Kids
One day this spring, I decided to write an travel application for the iPhone. Called Milwaukee Loves Kids, the application features 70 different family-friendly activities in the greater Milwaukee metro area. If you have a love for cheese and fun, this application should be on your iPhone. I’m working on Madison Loves Kids next, so come on over and “like” the Facebook Fan Page.

Earth Mama Angel Baby

As a writer, business owner, mother, and blogger, the ability to work part-time and keep so many balls in the air is rewarding and fulfilling in many different ways. When I was asked to be Blogs Mama for Earth Mama Angel Baby, industry leader in honest organic labeling with safe and effective products for pregnant women and their new babies, I did a little happy dance in my chair.
As Blogs Mama, I coordinate Earth Mama Angel Baby product reviews in both print and electronic mediums. This involves qualifying web sites, customer service, project management, and a solid understanding of social media and the needs of the customer base. I co-manage the company Facebook page, maintain a Twitter account with 1000+ followers, and coordinate the web-based affiliate program. The job requires creative writing and the ability to quickly, consistently, and effectively stay abreast of the organic health and wellness industry. (Oh yeah, and you meet bunches and bunches of lovely people too.)
